The award has also raised Cairns Airport’s profile in the industry. This is the airport’s second award win in as many years (in 2017 they took home the award for Outstanding Marketing & Communications at the Parking Industry Awards), and the team will be leveraging the win in a number of significant marketing campaigns over the next 12 months.
“Most people don’t think of carparks as ‘award-winning’ facilities,” explains Lena. “We’re now the proud operators of a very rare thing: an award-winning carpark. This is definitely something to shout about.”
